The most accurate way to size your belt is to measure the belt you are
now wearing. Please follow these steps:
Traditional style belt
1. Note which hole the buckle is in when your belt is most comfortable.
2. Lay the belt on a flat surface (see diagram) and measure from the hole
you are in to the buckle end of the belt. This will give me the exact
measurement for the center hole. I then measure two holes to each
side of the center, giving you five total.
Hook style belt
When ordering a belt for someone other than yourself you must have that
person's pant size. Because women's pant sizes do not translate to
inches, try to measure a belt as described in steps 1 and 2.
Hook belts have a seven inch adjustment, making them quite versatile.
This style has been my rock for 20 years, with thousands of satisfied
customers coming back for more. Once you buy one, you are literally
"hooked"! Because there are 6 loops, I position your center measurement in the forth loop down, so this gives you three loops tighter and two loops larger.
(see diagram). The end of the belt goes under the buckle
side of the belt, held secure by a leather keeper.
Helpful Hints
Never ask a man what his waist size is.. .he will lie 99% of the time! I
would be retired if I had gotten $10 for every person who claimed he was
a size 32 but somehow needed a larger belt. An existing belt
measurement or actual pant size is necessary for accurate sizing.(NOT
waist size)
Measuring Your Pant Size
For a pant size measurment I need you to add two inches to existing pant size.
For example If your pant size is a 36 you would give me a 38 inch measurement.
All belts are designed to be worn by both men and women. |
